CALL FOR ART
Gateway Pet Guardians will be hosting an Art Auction at the Schlafly Bottleworks on February 28th 2010. We are looking for artists interested in creating a piece of work, any medium, that is an interpretation of one of our foster dogs. Proceed will be shared 60/40 with artist, and will go toward our Shelter Fund. In order to give the artists enough time to think about and create their piece of art, the call will end on July 15th. Artists will be notified of a date to meet the fosters in August. Please email

ADOPTION EVENTS
Meet our adorable rescue animals! Visit us on July 4th from 11am-2:30pm at the Porch in Soulard at the corner of Lafayette and 9th Street next to the Farmer's Market. We will have a tent set up on the sidewalk in front of this wonderful gift store.

FEATURED PET: Watson
Watson is a one yr old, 30 lbs, very sweet Border collie Mix. He was rescued off of the streets of East St. Louis. He is a shy guy with strangers, but once he warms up, you have a friend for life. Watson is one of the good shy dogs. There is no aggression behind his shyness. Watson's foster mom loves to have him in her home. He is one of the easiest dogs she has taken care of. Watson is crate trained, great with kids and with other dogs. What a beautiful boy! We love him! If you are interested in meeting Watson, please contact
